OVERALL CONDITION OF STAMPS

As the old saying goes, "beauty is in the eyes of the beholder". With that in mind, unless otherwise noted, we will only ship good, sound stamps. Our definition of a good, sound stamp is as follows:
* The design will be clear of the edge perforations. On some issues, the design may be close but not touching.
* There are no straight edges other than booklet, coil, or imperforate stamps.
* There will be no hinges, or remnants of hinges on the stamps. Previously hinged mint stamps will be identified as such - MH.
* Stamps will not have faults such as creases, folds, tears, thins, scratches, or stains.
* Perfs should not have thins which protrude into the body of the stamp beyond the curvature of the perforations.
* Used stamps, other than precancels and service inscribed, should be cancelled. The cancellation should not be excessive or smeared. Unfortunately the exception to this (smeared) is the more recent sprayed-on cancels.

Simply put, good stamps don't have defects!
